Description
This lovely view of New York was done by George Hayward after Archibald Robertson and is entitled
New York, about 1790. Presented to D. T. Valentine. The lithograph was published in New York in 1862 by Crommelin for D. T. Valentine’s
Manual of the Corporation of the City of New York.
Archibald Robertson drew the original sketch for the work. George Hayward completed the lithograph. The lithograph features the New York harbor around 1790 with sailing ships and the developing skyline.

The work is in very good to excellent condition overall. There are a couple minor chips at the extreme edges. There is some tinting of the paper. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age. Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions.
