This historic volume is Giovanni Botero’s
Relationi universali. Divise in Quattro Parti. Arricchite di molte cose rare, e memorabili, con l’ultima mano dell’Auttore. The volume was edited by G. Brusoni and was published in Venice by Bertani in 1671.

This is four parts in one volume. It features 4 fold out engraved maps of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America by G. Rosaccio. The volume is bound in contemporary stiff vellum. This is a rare edition of Botero’s work. It was first published in 1592 without maps. This volume contains the second edition of the maps, first published in 1605.

Condition report:

The work is in good to very good condition overall. There is some occasional stains or discoloration to the paper. There are some ornamental woodcut initials throughout. The vellum is lightly worn and stained. There may be a few minor fox marks or imperfections to be expected with age.
