Description
This three volume work with 120 color plates is Richard Lydekker’s
Wild Life of the World, A Descriptive Survey of the Geographical Distribution of Animals. The work was published in 1916 in London by Frederick Warne & Co. The volumes also include numerous in text black and white illustrations. They are bound in contemporary dark green half morocco, top edge gilt.
Richard Lydekker (1849-1915) was an English naturalist and geologist. HE worked for the British Museum of Natural History for over twenty years. He is still one of the most noted historic authorities on the natural history of the world.

Condition report:
The work is in very good to excellent condition. The spines are evenly faded to brown. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age. Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions.
