Description
This fine volume is Rudyard Kipling’s
Les plus beaux contes. The work was published by Edition de la Sirene and Henri JOnquieres & Cie in Paris in 1920. It features 24 engravings by Kees Van Dongen. The engravins were printed by Louis Kaldor and hand-colored by Atelier Marty. It is bound in custom half leather binding with the original cover conserved. The work was limited to 300 in publication and printed on Rives vellum.
