This is part of
The Columbian Magazine featuring the first printing of the US Constitution in a periodical magazine dated September 1787, published in Philadelphia. The selection available includes pages 615 to 674, with the Constitution beginning on page 658. The section is absent a meteorological plate, fold-out illustration of "A View of the Natural Bridge in Virginia", as well as pages 623-630 and 633-636.

It is believed to the be the first magazine publication of the first form of the Federal Constitution of September 17, 1787. It was listed on the contents page under the working title "The new Plan for a Foederal [sic] Government" (Evans 20280, Sabin 14869).
