This pleasing botanical engraving is from Giovanni Baptista Ferrari’s work
Flora, seu de florum cultura. The work was published in Amsterdam in 1664 by Jan Janssonius.
Some of the finest Italian artists contributed to this work depicting beautiful flowers and floral arrangements. The work also featured allegorical illustrations of the seven days in the life of Flora.
