Description
This beautiful estate and garden folio engraving is from Antonius Sanderus’s
Chorographia Sacra Brabantiae (Latin for Holy Chorography of Brabant). The work was published by Christian van Lom in The Hauge in 1726. The work gives a historical geographic description of the duchy of Brabant with particular care to the religious presence. The drawings were completed mainly by Jean-Baptiste Berterham, Renier Blokhuysen, David Coster, and Jacobus Harrewijn.
