This volume with 18 lithographed celestial charts is E. Otis Kendall’s
Atlas of the Heavens; Showing the Places of the Principal Stars, Clusters and Nebulae; Designed to Accompany the Uranography; or A Description of the Heavens. The work was published in Philadelphia by Butler & Williams in 1844. Most of the lithographs feature original hand-coloring. The volume is bound in publisher’s cloth-backed printed boards.
