This two volume work is Pierre Louys’s
Aphrodite. Moeurs antiques. The work was published in Paris by Les Bibliophiles de l’Amérique Latine between 1952 and 1954.

There are 52 pochoir colored plates by George Barbier and Georges Lepape. There is also one original watercolor, one signed original wood cutting by Pierre Bouchet, and two additional suites with 52 black and white wood cuttings. The volumes are bound in red morocco leather master bindings signed A[ntoinette] Cerutti.
