Les plans, coupes, profils et élévations de la Chapelle de Chasteau Royal de Versailles.. The work was published in Paris by Demortain between 1716 and 1724. The engravings from this work featured stunningly detailed views of the gardens and fountains of Versailles. They represent Versailles at the end of Louis XIV’s life and were originally drawn in 1714 and 1715.
Condition report:
The work is in good to excellent condition overall. There are a couple small, closed tears in the lower margin. There is a small mark in the upper right cloud. There may be some professional repair / restoration at the fold out plates from this work. There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age.
