The Parrots, Their Natural History. The work was published in Magdeburg in 1881 by Carl Rumpler.
Karl Russ (1833-1899) was a German ornithologist. His work was a series depicting foreign ‘caged’ birds. The work focused on care, breeding, and training, and he helped pioneer modern bird keeping.
