Description
This first edition reference work is Sacheverell Sitwell’s
Fine Bird Books 1700-1900. The work was published in London and New York in 1953 by Collins & Van Nostrand. It was a limited edition of 2000 copies.
The volume is bound in original half cloth with marbled boards. There are 16 color plates including the frontispiece and 22 black and white illustrations.

Condition report:
The work is in very good to excellent condition overall. The covers are rubbed at head and foot. The spine is bumped.
