Description
This beautifully illustrated volume is Clio’s
Illustrations de Mucha. This first edition was published in Paris in 1900 by Calmann Levy.
The volume is bound in half-burgundy and marbled paper. There are 7 full page illustrations by Mucha.
Alfons Maria Mucha (1860-1939) was a Bohemian and Czech artist. He produced most of his early work in Paris and truly broke through around 1895. He moved back to Prague in 1910. Mucha was one of the most influential artists to the art nouveau movement.

Condition report:
The work is in very good to excellent condition. There is some slight rubbing to the binding. There may be some browning to the paper from age. Occasional, minimal signs of handling.
