Description of the work:
This lovely original watercolor was done in Denmark between 1890 and 1893. The manuscript was authored and illustrated by by J. P. Nyborg. The watercolors were originally bound with hand-written titles dated and with his name (photocopy provided). The detailed illustrations were accompanied with notes on the animal and their surroundings (included when possible). Nyborg’s manuscript described birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and fish.
