Description
This is Charles Baudelaire’s
Spleen et Ideal. The work was published in Paris by Vialetay in 1959. It features 35 original gouache illustrations by Daniel Solojoff. 15 are in full page, 20 in-text, and some do feature the monogram by Solojoff. The work was limited to only 50 copies and signed by the artist and publisher. This is one of only 10 that were printed to japan pearl paper.
Paper Size: ~ 11 1/2” by 15 1/2”
