This volume with numerous attractive art prints is part of Tériade’s
Verve: Revue artistique et littéraire. This volume was published in 1948 in Paris for Verve. The plates were done as lithographs, heliographs, and other styles and are printed to front and back. This is volume 5, numbers 19-20 with 40 illustrated pages. All of the illustrations are after Pablo Picasso.
Verve was a renowned quarterly art journal that ran from 1937 to 1960. It was founded in Paris by the art critic, Tériade. The journal published art from several noted artists including Picasso, Matisse, Leger, Miro, Rattner, Bores, Daumal, Braque, and more.
