Description
This fine map engraving is from Joseph Meyer’s
Zeitungs-Atlas für Krieg und Frieden. The work was published in New York by Hildburghausen between 1849 and 1860. The atlas was designed for businessmen and travellers. It is the improved or enlarged of the basic edition.
Condition report:
The work is in good to excellent condition overall. There is some tape at verso of the fold used in binding process. There is some light scattered foxing to the work, mostly nearer the edges There may be a few minor imperfections to be expected with age.
